Welcome to the home page of the Dumfries Amateur Football website. This website is the main reference for all things related to Amateur Football in Dumfries and the surrounding district. The website will serve both the local leagues, Dumfries and District Amateur League and the Dumfries Sunday League. Both leagues are affiliated to the Scottish Amateur Football Association.
This season will be the 60th Season for the DDAFL.
The Dumfries and District Amateur Football League was formed in 1954 and has run continuously since then. Currently there are 7 teams in membership with most of the clubs having been members for more than 40 years. The sides play in a league format with each side playing each other 3 times a year. In addition there are 6 cup competitions, 5 played in the knockout format and 1 played as a mini league. The sides also enter National Competitions, usually the South of Scotland or the West of Scotland Cups. Season Review
The Dumfries Sunday League was formed in 1978 and currently has 15 teams in membership. The league is split into 2 divisions with each team playing each other 3 times a season. The league also runs 4 cup competitions all of which are played in a knock-out format. The teams also enter the National Sunday Cup competition. Season Review
